Rangers are confident they will finalise a deal for West Bromwich Albion winger Tom Fellows this summer, journalist Graeme Baileyhas revealed.
The Toffees came close to signing the 21-year-old during the January transfer window and are reportedly ready to reignite their interest once the market reopens in just over two months.
David Moyes is believed to have approved a move for Fellows shortly after taking over from Sean Dyche in January, and has now made a deal for the Englishman one of Rangers ’s summer priorities.
A deal for Fellows, who is reportedly open to joining Everton after the season, is expected to cost around £15m after the season.
According to Bailey, Rangers are determined to get a deal over the line for Fellows this summer, as he is seen as a ‘perfect fit’ for David Moyes’ system.
The 21-year-old, praised as ‘unbelievable’, has enjoyed a standout campaign at West Brom, scoring two goals and providing 13 assists in 42 Championship appearances.
