Rangers warned Ibrox work ‘won’t be completed early’ as blame game lacks answers

Rangers have been warned the Ibrox stands work WON’T be completed early as fans demand answers over the real reasons behind delays.

The club are closing in on a deal to play their opening few “home” games at Hampden Park amid a wait for their own stadium to be ready. Shipment issues triggered a hold up which will not be ready in time for the start of the new season. An extended period away from Ibrox could work against Gers and Superscoreboard pundit and former Celtic defender Mark Wilson reckons there are further problems as he questioned who on the club board is to blame.

And he believes there’s little chance of the chaos ending any time soon as he predicted it to rumble on longer and leave Philippe Clement and co. in a difficult spot
“Like anybody who has got building work done on their house or has got a job done on their house – it is never guaranteed, and it usually just runs on and runs on,” he said. “Jobs very rarely go to plan and it’s not going to be completed early – you wouldn’t think anyway. That is a real problem for the Rangers fans.
“Things like the hospitality packages, the people that work in hospitality – all those small things and that level of employment at ibrox? How does that get shifted to Hampden?
