Shocking news: Philip Clements seriously invoked with acid reflux

Celtic exerted their dominance over Rangers yet again yesterday as they continued their unbeaten run in the Old Firm.

It went the same way as most recent derbies, especially at Parkhead, as they scored two fairly easy first half goals to give themselves some breathing space and then added another after the break. Daizen Maeda, Kyogo and Callum McGregor have all often delivered in this fixture and the trio were the heroes again.

At this rate, Brendan Rodgers‘ side look shoo-ins for the title and even the most optimistic of Gers supporters wouldn’t have much success if they tried to argue that point. The reaction in this country has reflected that with plenty of work to do for Rangers. But what about around the world? Let’s take a look.

Mais Futebol (Portugal)

“With Paulo Bernardo in the starting line-up, the home team were looking to maintain their unbeaten run in the league and in the most important game of the season in the country, the ‘Old Firm’. The clear highlight of the match was the performance of Daizen Maeda, who scored Celtic’s first goal and set up McGregor for the third, midway through the second half. By then the score was already 2-0, thanks to Furuhashi’s goal. This means Celtic remain in first place in the league with 12 points, the same as Aberdeen and now five points ahead of their eternal rivals, Rangers.”

“Get excited, Celtic fans. In the end, your team defeated their biggest rivals, Rangers, once again. Celtic did not spare Rangers this Sunday (1/9), in the first Super Classic of the Scottish Championship season. In the fourth round match played at Celtic Park, the current national champions beat their arch-rivals 3-0, with goals from Maeda, Furuhashi and McGregor.”

Vavel (Brazil)

“In a classic match, you expect a minimum of effort, but that’s not what we saw from the Rangers team. The game was far from what it could have been, and it’s worth considering the issue of attitude. A 3-0 win in a classic is a huge burden. The 3-0 victory shows how much Celtic has been able to dominate its opponents. It did not suffer in the game, managed to carry out its actions with great confidence and created extreme difficulties for the opponent.”

Voetbal International (Netherlands)

“Reigning champions Celtic are still unbeaten this official season. In the five matches that were played, they also scored fifteen goals and conceded only one. They also recorded a clean sheet against Rangers and with the victory they put their direct rival, who already lost points, at a serious disadvantage in the Scottish title race.”
